Moss Mural

Moss Mural Project was a contemporary and sustainable art experience in which Grade 9 students used locally collected moss to transform an exterior school wall into a temporary living artwork. Students created their own designs, transferred them onto the wall, and carefully applied fresh moss using a natural clay-and-sugar adhesive. The project encouraged students to explore creativity, sustainability, ecosystems, and the unpredictability of working with living materials, while documenting and reflecting on their artistic process through their IB Art journals.
