Bringing contemporary art practices into the high school art room, this project aims to encourage creative thinking and sustainability through the use of eco- friendly, localy sourced materials, to create a temporary installation- mural, on the school walls.

Cave art- Students used natural materials and inspiration from a local art museum to create a unique collaborative piece illustrating their interpretation of the original cave art painting.

Grade 8 students explored maps, communication, and boundaries by creating individual sections of a collaborative artwork, combining diverse artistic styles into one unified composition.

Combining art and recycling gives new perspectives and positively surprising results.

When art meets science, is where you get time visualized. In this activity, students are learning about photography as a way to visualise their movement. Using trails made on long exposure photos, they are able to learn about properties of light.

Students are encouraged to design and color their own interactive walkway path, on which they can perform various games, and PE activities.

Students are exploring and enhancing they sense of touch in this interactive art activity.

Using the knowledge of color mixing we achieved in classroom, allowed us to paint a huge mural as a result, while combining the experiences of art and music.

Being taught basic shapes, students are now trying to match the shape and color to paint a very big christmas tree! Records are made to be broken, but who can paint the tree that is longer than 88 meters?

Each passing week, student are taught how to draw a new character, and add it to their fairytale composition mixing the drawing and collage techniques.
